Scar care blog

Let’s Talk…

I’ve written these short pieces around some of the questions I’m most commonly asked in clinic. You can find plenty of medical information online. This is something a little different. Think of it as you and I having a chat: if you asked me one of these questions and we had a few minutes to talk, what would my answer be? It’s my perspective, shaped by years of working with scars and, importantly, by listening to the people who live with them.

I’m writing these as if I’m talking directly to you. If we were actually sitting together, of course I’d know a little more about you and your scar, and the conversation would be more attuned to you. Here, I’m just going to get straight to the point.
